This video emerges from the case of María de Jesús Patricio Martínez - “Marichuy” - an indigenous leader of Nahua origins, who was chosen by the Congreso Nacional Indígena of Mexico as an indigenous representative in the Mexican presidential elections of 2018. The video considers the anti-racist dimensions of this act.
